Draft Roscommon Town Local Area Plan 2024-2030 Now on Public Display

The Draft Plan is available to view from December 15th 2023 until February 5th 2024 inclusive (excluding weekends and public holidays) at the following locations during opening hours:

  • Roscommon County Council Planning Office, Áras an Chontae, Roscommon, F42 VR98
  • Roscommon County Library, Abbey St, Roscommon F42 RP49

The plan can also be  Downloaded Online (see below).

Public Consultation Drop-in Event

A public consultation drop-in event on the proposed Roscommon Town Draft Local Area Plan 2024-2030 will be hosted by Roscommon County Council on:

Thursday 18th January 2024 from 2.00pm – 7.00pm

Venue: The Abbey Hotel, Galway Rd, Roscommon, F42 F992

(No appointments are necessary)

Written or electronic (online) submissions or observations are invited in respect of the Draft Plan. Submissions or observations on this Draft Plan can be made:

(a) In writing, addressed to:
