Roscommon County Council have published the Draft Roscommon County Development Plan 2021-2027. The Draft Plan is a six-year strategy to make Co. Roscommon a vibrant, connected, natural, inclusive and smart place to work and live.
Public consultation is now open on the Draft Plan and submissions on the Draft Plan are being accepted until the 2nd July 2021. The Draft Plan may be viewed online at the dedicated website, www.rosdevplan.ie as well as in the Planning Office, Aras an Chontae, Roscommon. It should be noted that viewing in the Planning Office is by appointment only and arrangements can be made by telephone at 090 6637175 or by e-mailing planning@roscommoncoco.ie. Visitors will be required to adhere to the Standard Operating Guidance protocols in place at this time.
Members of the public as well as organisations and groups are invited to make a submission on the Draft Plan before the 2nd of July. This is a great opportunity for members of the public to engage with the Development Plan Process and have an impact on the way the future of Co. Roscommon is shaped.
Submissions can be made either:
