Newly elected Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council, Cllr. Joe Murphy, has urged members of the public to get involved in the Development Plan process and to make a submission on the Draft Plan.
Cllr. Murphy is encouraging members of the public to make a submission on what they would like to see in County Roscommon and outlined that submissions don’t have to be complicated but should outline what is needed in the county.
Public consultation on the Draft Plan closes on the 2nd July 2021. The Draft Plan may be viewed online at the dedicated website, www.rosdevplan.ie as well as in the Planning Office, Aras an Chontae, Roscommon. It should be noted that viewing in the Planning Office is by appointment only and arrangements can be made by telephone at 090 6637175 or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Visitors will be required to adhere to the Standard Operating Guidance protocols in place at this time.
Submissions can be made either:
(a) In writing to: Planning Department, Roscommon County Council, Áras an Chontae, Roscommon, F42 VR98. (Correspondence to be marked ‘Draft Roscommon County Development Plan 2021 – 2027’)
