Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council, Cllr Laurence Fallon, showed his support for the public consultation events taking place for the review of the County Development Plan by attending the event that was taking place in Strokestown.
The event was a “drop in” event where members of the public were invited to attend and talk to planning staff in relation to strategic issues which are facing County Roscommon. Staff were also available to explain the whole plan preparation process as well as give advice in relation to making a submission on the recently published Issues Paper.
Members of the public are encouraged to get involved on how they think their county should develop over the next six years and can do so by making a submission whether online at www.rosdevplan.ie or by sending a hard copy to the Planning Department in Aras an Chontae, Roscommon.
Public consultation events continue to be held on Friday 23rd July, Monday 27th July and Tuesday 28th of July.
